The Bovie Surgi-Center Pro Electrosurgical Unit is a high-power generator that has 12 monopolar and bipolar modes that enhances surgical precision. It allows users to save up to 10 preset settings for easier recalling and modification. The device has an auto-check system upon activation and its power level settings can be adjusted while in use. Its dual monopolar spray activation produces equal and even outputs in all accessories. It has a specialized laparoscopic mode that can limit energy outputs, reducing the risks of capacitive coupling and alternate site burns. The Bovie FDS technology measures tissue impedance at a rate of 5,000/sec. It also has a return electrode contact quality monitoring system that reduces the risk of site burns.
