Conmed Aspen Excalibur Plus is an isolated generator that allows surgeons to adjust the power settings from within the surgical area using a standard ES pencil. It has cut, bipolar, coag, and blend modes. It features a Controlled Output Voltage which maintains the minimum voltage necessary for smooth, scalpel-like cutting. The Aspen Return Monitor operates at a safe preset range of 10-150 Ohms and displays automatic feedback and visual displays, alerts staff in case of faulty pads, and disarms the electrosurgical unit.
