The Leica M841 is a surgical microscope for use in the field of Ophthalmology. Developed by Leica Microsystems, the M841 has a number of innovative features, including but not limited to the APO OptiChrome optics, Leica QuadZoom, and Leica OttoFlex, that makes it one of the best operating microscope in the market.
The M841 surgical microscope is equipped with APO OptiChrome optics, Leica QuadZoom, and Leica OttoFlex to help with delivering razor-sharp images. The APO OptiChrome is a high-performance optics adapted to provide high-contrast, brilliant colors, crisp image definition, and unmatched resolution. The Leica QuadZoom is an optical system that has four beam paths and 100 percent stereopsis for the surgeon and the assistant. The Leica OttoFlex is an illumination module designed to increase the red reflex, reduce the stray light through the sclera, and increase the image contrast.
The Leica M841 is compatible with the Leica C40 Ceiling Mount and the Leica CT40 Telescope. The C40 allows for maximum degree of vertical and horizontal utilization due to the motorization of the system. The CT40 designed to be height-adjustable which allows it to be used in smaller operating rooms.
It is also provided with motorized XY-unit, a motorized tilt mechanism, ErgonOptic, and OPEN Control systems. All these features collaborate to provide a surgical microscope that delivers enhanced image details, improved patient safety, and comfortable working conditions for the surgeons.
