The Medfusion 3010a Syringe Pump is a mobile syringe pump that runs either on AC power of on rechargeable batteries. It is specifically designed to work in static magnetic fields and may be used in MRI rooms. This instrument features 16 infusion modes with a software that is easy to use and navigate.
This syringe pump can deliver fluids such as intravenous solutions, medications, blood, and blood components. Its six delivery modes give it flexible functionality - continuous, volume / time, mass, body weight, custom dilution, and intermittent volume / time. This model can accept syringe sizes ranging from 1 mL to 60 mL.
To ensure smooth operations, this pump is equipped with various alarms. For example, it can detect when a syringe is almost empty and then issue an alarm. It can also detect and warn if a syringe size does not match the entered flow rate. Also, it will call the attention of the healthcare professional if there is an occlusion, which results to the infusion line should being checked promptly.
