The Olympus OTV-S7H-VA Autoclavable Camera Head provides high quality imaging and color reproduction crucial to all endoscopic surgical procedures. Its lightweight design enhances a surgeon's performance by reducing fatigue on lengthy procedures. It offers comfort and greater control in device handling by positioning its remote switches at a distance from the camera head. This reduces the risk of camera shake and results to stable images. The switches can also be configured to take on functions such as zoom, capture, or automatic white balance.
This camera head is equipped with Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) - an optical image enhancement technology. It creates a visual contrast by changing the appearance of veins and capillaries. This helps surgeons in identifying vessels and other tissues, and is useful in differentiating between benign and malignant cells. This accurate diagnosis results to the best possible treatment for patients.
It can withstand the conditions of steam sterilization, allowing the device to keep up with a higher number of surgeries.
