The Olympus PSD-30 Electrosurgical Unit is designed specifically for endoscopic electrosurgery. It has enhanced safety and operation features, and an autostop function. It also has a self-check monitor that gives out an alert when it detects any malfunction or abnormality. The footswitch monitor will alert the user in case of any short-circuit, through its visual display or audio alarm. It has three cutting and coag modes designed for optimal cutting and hemostasis. The output monitor function also sends out an alarm if the power output level does not match the prescribed output setting through its audio, visual alarms, and warning lights.
