Philips 50XM Maternal/Fetal Monitor is able to monitor vital signs of both mother and fetus continuously during labor, delivery, and in antepartum testing-areas. It features Individual twins heart rate monitoring and uterine activity calculation. It has color-coded sockets matching cables and supplies, and even its fetal heart rate channels have their signal quality indicators. This device has Toco and intrauterine pressure monitoring and monitoring non-invasive measurement of the Noninvasive Blood Pressure and the Oxygen Saturation optional parameters. With its Cross Channel Verification feature, it can differentiate each twin and monitor their individual heart rates, and can differentiate mother from fetus. It has connectivity with the Avalon Cordless Transducer System and OB TraceVue, allowing patient surveillance, alerting, documentation, archiving functionality, and easy access to well-organized patient data. With this TraceVue system, patient name and bed labeling are harmonized and the system clock is synchronized with the monitors.
