Philips Avalon FM20 Maternal/Fetal Monitor is a cost-effective monitor able to monitor individually the vital signs of both mother and fetus, from prenatal checkups up until labor and delivery. It has built-in NST Trace Interpretation, a clinical decision support application for antepartum monitoring. Its transducers are waterproof and comfortable to wear. It has optional parameters including non-stress test, and maternal non-invasive blood pressure and ECG. This device has the following features: Ultrasound, Fetal Movement Profile, Toco Monitoring, and NST timer. It has cableless option with the Avalon CL or CTS transducer system. Its Smart Pulse feature that is integrated into Toco transducer can detect maternal pulse rate. It also has optional SPO2 and monitoring of maternal temperature with the Tympanic Temperature Thermometer. It has an optional recorder with a built-in memory of up to 7 hours of trace data. It features a 6.5-inch high-resolution color TFT touchscreen displaying easy-to-read data in numerics. It has a flexible Nurse Call interface that signals external devices such as beepers. Its battery can last up to 4 hours of use, for in-house transport or during power outages.
