Physio Control Lifepak 20 Defibrillator is a compact and lightweight device that can offer deliver flexible and efficient solutions to meet diverse defibrillation needs across a variety of healthcare settings and situations. It uses ADAPTIV biphasic technology to offer manual and AED modes. This device provides normal operating capabilities for ALS users when on manual mode, it allows users to select energy levels of up to 360 Joules, and it offers synchronous cardioversion and pacing. On AED mode, it provides normal operating capabilities for BLS users and provides default energy levels of up to 360 Joules. All features are available on AED mode except for manual defibrillation, synchronous cardioversion, pacing, and access to archived patient records. It has configurable device settings automatic daily self-tests. Its Service Mode allows users to calibrate the device and perform diagnostic tests, display device mode software and hardware versions, and display and print the diagnostic code log. Archives of previous patients can be accessed for review, edit, transmission, or print.
