The Storz 20131520 Xenon Nova Light Source is designed to work for virtually with any kind of endoscopic procedure, producing brilliant light that results to excellent and high quality images. It corresponds to the color temperature of sunlight, resulting to brilliant illumination. A dimmer offers easy control of its brightness while the lamp current remains the same. This avoids instabilities in light output and maximizes its lamp life.
It also ensures efficient use through its lamp replacement indicator. A red glow means its lamp usage has exceed 450 hours, and a flashing light indicates that its usage has exceeded the approximated 500 hours limit. There is no need for warm up when using the Xenon Nova because full light intensity is reached as soon as the lamp is switched on, which saves time for surgeons.
