The Stryker 1088 HD Camera Console redefines functionality and flexibility within the Operating Room with its six ports for video output. There are two digital visual interface (DVI, 29-pin) at its rear panel. In addition, four analog video ports are available: two S-VHS (4-pin mini-DIN), one composite (BNC), and one RGB (8-pin DIN). These give more choices for visualization and allow the system to work seamlessly both with past analog and current digital monitors. Its DVI ports are also backwards compatible, able to transmit analog signal through a DVI-I to VGA adapter.
The console also has the ability to optimize its settings and provide high definition output for a specific surgical procedure. Using its easy-to-use touchscreen interface, a user can select a Surgical Specialty whether it is arthroscopy, cystoscopy, ENT, flexi-scope, hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, laser, microscope, or standard.
When connected to a Stryker device control console, voice control and the use of a graphic tablet is possible.
