The Stryker X7000 220-190-000 Light Source provides ambient light to surgical sites of minimally invasive endoscopic procedures. Its 300-watt Xenon bulb is optimized to work with High Definition systems, delivering light via a fiberoptic cable. It is built to meet the demands of progressive scan technology, and is compatible with Stryker 1088, 1188, and 1288 digital imaging systems.
It uses its Activate mode during normal operation. In this mode, its light output can be adjusted by the brightness controls on the LCD display. When it is powered on but not in use, it switches to Standby mode. It gives minimal light output in this mode, effectively reducing the heat generated at the tip of the light cable or scope. It also comes with Electronic Scope Sensing Technology (ESST), a special safety feature. When the light cable and the scope are separated, the Standby mode is turned on. This prevents accidental fires or burns by reducing the heat produced by the light cable.
