The Valleylab ForceTriad Energy Platform has a user-friendly interface with 3 touchscreens that separately illuminate only when being used. It offers five monopolar modes: Pure cut mode and Blend cut mode, Valleylab mode, Fulgurate coag mode and Spray coag mode. It also offers three bipolar modes: Low, Standard, and Macro. In addition, its Autobipolar mode is able to sense any impedance between two bipolar electrodes and automatically starts or stops RF energy delivery. The ligasure mode provides precise energy and pressure to specific vessels at a time designed to minimize sticking or thermal spread to nearby tissue cells. This device can read tissue impedance at a rate of 3,333 times/second. It has adaptive REM system and a faster fusion cycle relative to the earlier LigaSure sealing generator. The improved tissue fusion technology can permanently fuse vessels of up to 7 mm. It can be connected to a RapidVac smoke evacuator and it has an automatic instrument recognition capability.
