The Verathon Glidescope GVL 3 Camera Blade is the imaging component of the GVL resusable laryngoscope systems which connects directly to the monitor. It is equipped with an integrated high-resolution digital camera and LED lighting, which ensure clear and dependable live feed of a patient's airway. It also has a built-in anti-fog feature that prevents camera fogging during laryngoscopic or intubation procedures. The camera is intended to be used with patients of diffent body proportions ranging form 22 pounds (10 kg) to adult size. Due to its reusable nature, the camera blade requires high level of disinfection after each use to remove biohazards and contaminants. The amount of exposure and duration can vary depending on the liquid disinfectant used, and ends with a rinsing procedure. The Verathon Glidescope GVL 3 Camera Blade can safely deliver superb performance up to 2 years or 2000 use cycles.
