The Verathon Glidescope GVL 5 Camera Blade provides clear imaging for the GVL reusable laryngoscope systems and connects directly to the monitor. The reusable blade is equipped with an integrated high-resolution digital camera and LED light source, which ensure clear and dependable live feed during laryngoscopy and intubation. It also has a built-in anti-fog feature that prevents camera fogging during laryngoscopic or intubation procedures. The camera is intended for patients of diffent body proportions ranging from 88 pounds (40 kg) to morbidly obese sizes. The camera blade requires high level of disinfection after each use due to its reusable nature to remove contaminants and biohazards. The amount of exposure and duration can vary depending on the liquid disinfectant used and ends with a rinsing procedure. The Verathon Glidescope GVL 5 Camera Blade can safely deliver its superb performance up to 2 years or 2000 use cycles.
