The Verathon Glidescope Ranger GVL 4 Camera Blade delivers clear imaging for the Glidescope Ranger reusable systems through a direct connection to the monitor. A high-resolution digital camera and LED light source are integrated into the reusable blade for real-time view of the airway and tube placement. This ensures clear and dependable live feed during laryngoscopy and intubation. It is also equipped with a proprietary anti-fog mechanism that heats up rapidly to resist clouding and secretions. The camera is intended for patients of different body proportions ranging from 88 pounds (40 kg) to morbidly obese sizes. The camera blade requires high level of disinfection after each use to effectively remove contaminants and biohazards. The amount of exposure and duration can vary depending on the liquid disinfectant used, and ends with a rinsing procedure.
