The Verathon Glidescope Titanium Monitor provides clear TFT display of images transmitted from the camera in the video laryngoscope. Its front panel contains several buttons that allow flexibility during procedures: record live feed, capture images, provide an external display to another monitor, and a convenient battery power indicator. It also has a tutorial button to facilitate learning curves that result to efficient device operation. The back panel contains a video-out HDMI port for medical-grade external DVI display, and a USB port where a storage media can be connected for saving recorded videos and captured images. The back panel also contains the video cable port which accepts video cables for both single-use and reusable laryngoscope configurations.
In addition, the Verathon Glidescope Titanium Monitor also has smart features such as it can automatically detect and warn of the absence or presence of a storage media for recording, warn if the USB drive is not compatible with the system, or when the video cable is not attached to the monitor. A power-down countdown appears to indicate that the unit is about to turn off when the Auto Power Off feature is active, but the process can be canceled by pressing any button.
