The Zeiss OPMI MD is an electrically controlled surgical microscope with high-end optics and high depth of field. Compact, mobile, cost-effective, and versatile, the MD is specifically well suited to be used for eye, neuro, and spine surgeries in an operating room setting.
The MD is capable of smooth adjustment with respect to zooming and focusing. It is equipped with a 100-watt halogen light source with fiber optic. The light intensity can be adjusted, the zoom function can be adjusted from 4x to 24x, and the eyepiece has 10x magnification. All these features allow the surgical microscope to deliver high-quality, crisp, and clear images.
The OPMI MD allows the surgeons or the clinical personnel more freedom in the operating room. It is provided with a footswitch and gives the doctor with a slope of zero to sixty degrees. It is compatible with the S3 and S5 stands.
