The Zeiss OPMI Vario is a high-precision surgical microscope designed to deliver high image quality, resolution, and color fidelity which makes it specifically well-suited to be used in neuro, spine Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) and P&R applications. The OPMI Vario is easy to use, versatile, mobile, and compact which allows the surgical microscope to be used in both routine and complex procedures.
The OPMI Vario is equipped with a motorized Carl Zeiss magnification changer with 1:6 ratio. It can be adjusted using a handgrip or a foot control panel. It is also provided with a Varioskop focusing system that has an imaging area of 185cm at full longitudinal extension. These features are combined with the rock-steady suspension system to enable the Vario to deliver high quality images with enhanced resolution and color fidelity.
The Vario allows the medical personnel to focus on the surgical procedure due to the improved stability of the surgical microscope. The modular design of the OPMI Vario allows the clinician to tailor the system to their personal needs or to the requirements of the procedure.
