The Zeiss OPMI Visu 160 is a surgical microscope developed by Carl Zeiss Meditec. Designed for the field of Ophthalmology, the Visu 160 combines the unmatched Carl Zeiss optical technology with the ergonomic and innovative features of the Visu 160 to deliver crisp, clear, and high-resolution images.
The Zeiss surgical microscope is equipped with the Zeiss BrightFlex illumination, the DeepView technology, and an integrated illuminated slit which allow the Visu 160 to deliver unparalleled images. The BrightFlex illumination features a 2-degree and fading 6-degree illumination to provide a bright red reflex and optimal light conditions. The DeepView allows surgeons to choose between optimized depth perception or maximum light transmission while the integrated illuminated slit is designed for retro-illumination during lens extraction.
In addition, with the BrightFlex, DeepView, and integrated illuminated slit, the Visu 160 is also provided with an apochromatic lens with anti-reflex multi-coating, motorized zoom and focus system for smooth magnifier adjustment, and ergonomic handgrips for precise positioning. These features further help in delivering razor-sharp images with great color clarity and contrast.
For the suspension system, the Visu 160 can use the S7 160 floor stand, S7 160 ceiling mount with lifting column, and S7 160 ceiling mount with the rigid column. The razor-sharp images, the enhanced positioning capability, and the ergonomically designed floor stand are combined to improve the surgical workflow and provide the surgeons with optimum comfort while performing surgeries.
