The Baxter 150XL Mini-Infuser Syringe Pump is a battery operated medical instrument that can hold and empty a standard plastic syringe at a steady and sustained manner. It can accommodate syringe sizes from 5 mL to 60 mL. When a syringe is almost empty, the force sensors embedded to the syringe holder will give an alarm. This instrument is also designed to detect occlusions during delivery of infusion.

A flashing green light signifies that the machine is in order, while a flashing red light alerts of either an occlusion or a near-empty syringe.
