The Stryker 1588-210-105 AIM Camera Head has Dynamic Range Enhancement feature (DRE), which magnifies the brightness of an image by up to 150 per cent. With this, image quality is improved even in dark or posterior locations. This enhances accuracy for surgeons when they identify critical anatomy, and increases efficiency in operating procedures.

The four-button keypad on top of the camera head allows control over the camera. The P button provides control to a remote video accessory. An on-going procedure can be captured by the user either as still images or as videos. The W button activates either the White Balance or the Zoom Cycle function. The other two are the Up and Down buttons, and are used to change functionality.
