The Stryker 1588-610-122 AIM Camera Head has Dynamic Range Enhancement feature (DRE), which enhances the brightness of an image by up to 150 per cent. Image quality is greatly improved even when probing through dark or posterior locations. This enhances accuracy and efficiency for surgeons when they identify critical anatomy.

Camera functions and settings can be controlled by the four-button keypad on top of the camera. The P button provides control to a remote video accessory. With it, a user can capture on-going procedures either as still images or as videos. The W button gives access to either the White Balance or the Zoom Cycle function. The other two are the Up and Down buttons, and are used to change functionality.
