Drager Fabius OS is an anesthesia machine that has the E-Vent ventilator technology that delivers efficient ventilation to neonate, pediatric, and adult patients of varying acuity levels through its electronically driven and controlled piston ventilator that doesn't require gas. Its Innovian Anesthesia technology allows data to be documented electronically and its open-platform architecture enhances workflow streamline by allowing the device to communicate clinical data to hospital and anesthesia information systems. The Fabius OS has enhanced ergonomic features: table-top designs, 3 large drawers, front-face handles and front-panel access to all modes, and display rotary knob, which all give users convenience and improved productivity. It's capable of delivering safe and efficient low-flow anesthesia with fresh gas decoupling valve that creates an accurate tidal volume, precision piston ventilator, and actively heated breathing system. Even in cases of power interruption, manual ventilation can still be delivered, and a backup battery that can operate for 120 minutes can still deliver automatic ventilation.
