The Drager Oxylog 3000 Ventilator is a versatile mechanical ventilator specifically well-suited for emergency transfer situations. The Oxylog 3000 is a robust, durable, light, compact, safe-to-use, and efficient ventilator system ideally used for critical-care patients needing to be transported either by air or land.
The Oxylog 3000 is a time-cycled, volume-constant, emergency and transport ventilator for patients with a tidal volume starting at 50 mL. This small tidal volume starting range allows the device to be used for small children. It features the SIMV mode and other spontaneous modes which can actively support a patient's breathing. It can also combine pressure-controlled and spontaneous ventilation during the entire breathing cycle and can determine insufficient spontaneous breathing and automatically support the patient's breathing.
The Oxylog 3000 is durable and robust. It is designed to be able to withstand a drop from heights up to 30 inches. It also functions well in extreme temperatures. The Oxylog 3000 is compact and lightweight since it is driven by a high-pressure gas supply gas which eliminates the need for an internal blower. Because of these features, and despite its increased durability, the 3000 can be carried easily.
The Oxylog 3000 is designed for an easy, simple, and efficient operation which makes it, again, an ideal choice during emergency situations. It is equipped with Drager's well-known rotary knobs. Users of the 3000 can easily select, adjust, and confirm the parameters they need. The display in this ventilator can also be discerned easily. This high-contrast display can show readings, settings, and flow or pressure curves at a glance.
