The Olympus GIF-Q180 Video Gastroscope is used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Featuring an exceptional image quality, a slim insertion tube and instrument channel, an extra-wide field of view, and an ergonomically-designed grip, it facilitates detailed examinations in a manner that is more comfortable for the patient. It has an insertion tube with a diameter of 8.8 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.8 millimeters, and a working length of 1030 millimeters. It also has a 4-way angulation and a broad 140-degree field of view which enable complete and comprehensive observation within the upper gastrointestinal tract. These features of the compact GIF-Q180 reduces patient discomfort, enhances user experience, delivers crisp and clear images, and improves its insertion capabilities. It is also equipped with an ergonomic grip which enhances its maneuverability, while its easy-to-access controls and user programmable switches improves its operability. The GIF-Q180 also allows the users to view the acquired images on a large monitor that shows an exact rendering of deft textures and distinct capillaries on the esophageal and gastric walls to ensure reliable, efficient examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
