The Olympus GIF-V is a video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It produces outstanding image quality and highlights a narrow 9.8-millimeter insertion tube and 2.8-millimeter instrument channel, a broad field of view, and a working length of 1030 millimeters. It also has a 4-way angulation which allows for a complete and accurate examination within the upper gastrointestinal tract. These features make it well suited for facilitating detailed examination and treatment in a manner that is more convenient and comfortable for patients. It is also equipped with an ergonomic grip which improves its maneuverability, and its readily accessible controls and user programmable switches enhance its operability. The GIF-V is compatible with the Olympus CV-100, CV-140, CV-160, and CV-180 video processors and Olympus CLV-10, CLV-160, CLV-180, CLV-U20, and the CLV-U40 light sources.
