The Smith & Nephew 560P HD Camera Console aims for optimal HD image quality, with its color reproduction at broadcast quality. It is widely known for its versatility which aims to provide high quality imaging for each endoscopic procedure. It works seamlessly well both with analog and digital displays.
The console is equipped with four high-definition output: two HD Serial Digital Interface (HD-SDI), one digital visual interface supporting DVI-Digital (HD-DVI), and one YPrPb (75 BNC Coaxial). This gives more flexibility options during an endoscopic surgical procedure, as the system can work with several kinds of high-quality displays at the same time.
For standard display, the console also has two S-VHS (4-pin mini-DIN), and one composite (BNC) analog port. These options allow the system to work with standard definition monitors. Capturing videos is also possible through the use of a USB storage device. Videos are stored as MPEG4 and are playable both on PC and MAC computers.
