The Siemens Axiom Artis Zee is a state-of-the-art imaging system used in cath angio lab and designed to reconstruct images of human anatomy. The Axiom Artis Zee is devised to provide precise anatomical details at the lowest possible dose and can rapidly acquire and reconstruct vascular and cardiac anatomy.
The Axiom Artis Zee is equipped with the High Dynamic Range (HDR) Flat Detector, the MEGALIX Cat Plus X-ray tube, and the Automatic Exposure Control (AEC). The HDR Flat Detector and the MEGALIX Cat Plus X-ray tube are designed to enhance the three-dimensional image quality and yield low-contrast images. The AEC is configured to automatically adjust the tube current, focal spot, filtration, exposure time, and tube voltage based on the C-Arm angulation. These three systems allow the Artis Zee to deliver the highest quality of image at the lowest possible dose.
The Artis Zee is a multi-purpose system that can come in as a floor-mounted system, ceiling-mounted system, and a biplane system. These systems give the Siemens cath angio lab device with a high degree of flexibility which enables it to support a broad range of applications.
The Axiom Artis Zee can be used for Interventional Cardiology focusing on Coronary Artery Disease, Structural Heart Disease, Electrophysiology, and Congenital Heart Disease. It can support Interventional Radiology including Interventional Oncology and Interventional Neuroradiology. The Artis Zee can also be used in Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery, and Neurosurgery.
