The Ziehm Vista C-Arm is a mobile, versatile, and cost-effective fluoroscopic imaging system configured to be used in diagnostics and surgical applications. The Vista can efficiently scan the patient's anatomy using a lower dose of radiation and then output clear, crisp, and high-resolution images of the scanned area to make this C-Arm system ideally suited for minimally invasive and interventional surgeries such as brain and spinal surgery, orthopedic procedures, and pain management.
The C-Arm system can reduce the radiation dose received by the patient and the medical personnel without losses in the resulting image contrast. This is done by using Ziehm's specialized X-ray filters, full frame technology, digital image rotation and reversal without radiation output, virtual collimation without radiation output, Anatomical Programs, pulsed fluoroscopy with last image hold, patient dose recording, half-dose mode, and laser cross-hair positioning and centering.
The Ziehm Vista C-Arm integrates the latest Computer-Aided Surgery systems to form a surgical environment with real-time image guidance to allow surgeons to effectively use the Vista to operate with optimum precision and accuracy. By utilizing a fully integrated Ziehm NetPort that is compatible with DICOM 3.0, the Vista can transfer original images and patient data to and from PACS or HIS/RIS to provide the medical personnel an integrated digital network solution.
The Vista is designed to output high-quality images regardless of the type of procedures. The Vista achieves this by taking advantage of the C-Arm's superior maneuvering and positioning capabilities, the unique Ziehm Video Signal Processor, and the Vista's re-designed image video chain. The imaging process is combined with the C-Arm system's ergonomically designed user-interface, automation, and Ziehm's unmatched digital network integration to improve the overall efficiency of the clinical workflow.
