The GE Lightspeed Pro 32 is a multi-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner designed to acquire high-resolution images from a wide range of applications. The CT scanner can acquire 32 images per gantry rotation that allows it to deliver unparalleled images with better resolution, at quicker speeds, and also allows the medical personnel to have greater clinical confidence in their diagnosis.

The multi-slice CT scanner is configured to produce high-resolution images by utilizing the 64 x 0.625-millimeter detector rows with V-Res Technology and the quick 0.4 gantry rotation time. The Lightspeed Pro 32 has a Helios (H3) Gantry design. It has a 70-centimeter aperture and can be tilted 30 degrees. This allows patients to be comfortable during the procedure.

The Lightspeed Pro 32 is configured to utilize GE's innovative systems to deliver sub-millimeter resolution and effective dose optimization for advanced clinical applications. The Lightspeed Pro 32 can also be equipped with software options including Smart Prep, AutoMa, 3000 Image Series, Connect Pro, Direct 3D, Direct MPR, Data Export, Copy Composer, VCT Hi-Power, Sub 0.4 second scan, Exam Split, and BMD which can further improve the overall clinical efficiency of the CT scanner.
