The Olympus BF-H190 is a video bronchoscope used for bronchoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. It has enhanced handling capabilities, designed with improved functionality, and delivers unparalleled HDTV image quality. Its HDTV feature combines with its 1.2x to 1.5x electronic magnification to raise diagnostic accuracy by allowing a more detailed observation of bronchial surfaces. It also uses Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) technology, an optical image enhancement that creates a visual contrast of vessels on the mucosal surface, while also improving brightness at fifty-percent more compared to previous models. Its insertion tube has been redesigned to allow up to 120 degrees rotation to the left or to the right by the simple turning of a ring on the control section of the scope, reducing user fatigue during procedures. Its 210 degrees upward angulation range facilitates smoother insertion into the upper lobe bronchi, while also allowing more bending ability when an EndoTherapy device is inserted in the working channel.
