The Olympus CF-2T160L Video Colonoscope is built with two independent channels, one with 3.7mm diameter for suction and the other with 3.2mm diameter for insertion of an Endo-Therapy accessory. It is designed to work with an Olympus video endoscopy system and its documentation and ancillary peripherals to provide sharp, clear, and detailed images of the inside of the colon and junction between small and large intestines during colonoscopic examination, treatment, and surgery. Its 3-mm minimum depth of field allows close up observation of tissues while its compatibility with laser probes gives allows it to be used in other surgical procedures. The extra-wide 140 degrees field of view makes it possible to observe a wider area of the site, while its four-way angulation allows complete and comprehensive examination of even difficult sections of the colon. Convenient buttons integrated into the colonoscope activates the angulation feature, allowing quick and uncomplicated device operation. In addition, its Scope ID function stores individual scope information to facilitate endoscopy suite management.
