The Olympus CLK-4 Halogen Light Source is designed for ease-of-use and portability, a practical solution where space is a major challenge. It is equipped with a single 15 watt high intensity halogen lamp, which provides bright and balanced illumination for surgical sites with a color temperature of 3250 degrees Kelvin. Its lamp can last up to 50 hours of continuous usage.

It can manually capture still images through the use of Olympus 35 millimeter SLR Camera. The Olympus CLK-4 does not have an automatic exposure system to keep its compact design. It can, however, permit instant connection to any Olympus OES Fiberscope without the need for adapters. This feature gives it versatility to work with a wide range of endoscopic procedures.
