The Olympus CV-190 Video Processor delivers high quality images through enhanced color reproduction, reduction of image noise, and decreased halation. It is equipped with Narrow Band Imaging (NBI) technology which creates a contrast between veins and capillaries, resulting to high accuracy during endoscopic examinations and interventions. This technology can even help surgeons differentiate between benign and malignant tissues.
It can also work with both analog and digital outputs, giving it flexibility with existing equipment and future upgrades. Its analog output includes VBS Composite, Y/C, and RGB. On the other hand, it is well capable of providing HDTV quality live feed, with its digital output of HD-SDI, SD-SDI, DV, and DVI. Its main features also include the newly designed, waterproof one-touch connector which allows a direct connection to the light source and eliminates the need for a separate scope cable.
