The Olympus GIF-160 is a video gastroscope used for gastrointestinal endoscopy applications in hospitals and clinics. Featuring an outstanding image quality, a slim insertion tube and instrument channel, an extra-wide field of view, and an ergonomically-designed grip, the Evis Exera gastrointestinal videoscope is intended to facilitate detailed examinations in a manner that is more comfortable for the patient.
The GIF-160 features an insertion tube with a diameter of 8.6 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.8 millimeters, and a working length of 1030 millimeters. These characteristics allow the small GIF-160 to lessen the patient discomfort, to enhance the user experience, to deliver crisp and clear images, and to improve its insertion capabilities.
The GIF-160 also features an ergonomically designed grip which can improve the scope's maneuverability. The easy-to-access buttons and user programmable switches can also raise the gastroscope's operability. The video gastroscope also has a 4-way angulation and a broad 140-degree field of view which facilitate complete and comprehensive observation within the upper gastrointestinal tract.
The GIF-160 also permits the users to observe the acquired images displayed on a monitor that has a large display size. The large display size shows an accurate rendering of deft textures and distinct capillaries on the esophageal and gastric walls to ensure reliable, efficient examination, diagnosis, and treatment.
