The Pentax FB-19H is a fiberoptic bronchoscope used in hospitals and clinics for diagnosis and treatment of respiratory diseases. It provides optical visualization of and therapeutic access to the airway and bronchial tree, including, but not limited to, the organs, tissues, and subsystems such as the nasal passage and trachea. It is designed to facilitate detailed examinations in a manner that is more comfortable for the patient. It features an insertion tube with a diameter of 6.2 millimeters, an instrument channel with a diameter of 2.0 millimeters, and a 550-millimeter working length. These features facilitate easy insertion that can decrease procedure time and improve patient comfort. The FB-19H features an ergonomically designed grip which can improve the maneuverability and handling of the fiberscope. It also features a 160-degree (up) and a 100-degree (down) angulation that facilitates easier maneuvering in the bronchi. It has a 90-degree field of view which enables accurate observation of large areas.
