The Mindray AS3000 Anesthesia Machine is a versatile and full-featured continuous-flow anesthesia delivery that doubles as a work station. Its stainless steel work surface is built with a raised perimeter to prevent items from rolling or sliding off its edge. Its top shelf can hold additional equipment and below it are three (3) large drawers for easy storage and quick access of medical items. In terms of performance, its ventilator offers several modes: Pressure Control Ventilation (PCV), Controlled Mandatory Ventilation with volume control (CMV), Pressure Support (PS) ventilation, and Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (SIMV). Its automatic fresh gas compensation protects the patient from user changes in fresh gas flow rate, minimizing the risk of error. In addition, the AS3000 has safety systems in place to prevent hypoxic gas mixture from being administered. For example, nitrous oxide will not be delivered unless it detects the presence of oxygen pressure thus ensuring a high level of safety to patients.
