Philips SureSign VM4 is a versatile and lightweight patient monitor that has large colored display screens for easier real-time monitoring of patient vitals, from adult, to pediatric, to neonatal. It has configurable alarms like flashing numeric, alarm messages, and alarm icons and alarm limits can be set to each patient. It has an optional monitoring of measures such ECG, SpO2, non-invasive blood pressure, heart rate, arrhythmia, pulse rate, temperature (optional) and respiration. Data transmission and storage is made easier with its compatibility to a central monitoring system through ethernet connectivity. It has a built-in 4-hour capacity battery for reliable use on-the-go and an upgradable software. It also has optional Predictive Temperature - Oral, axilliary and rectal, Welch Allyn Sure Temp measurements in 4 seconds and an optional Integrated Recorder.
