Philips SureSign VM 8 is a lightweight and portabe patient monitor designed for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients in a variety of care settings. It has a 10.4-inch colored screen with easy-to-read displays and configurable display formats. It has configurable audio and visual alarms that can be set based on patient's current vitals. It has an optional barcode scanner, integral recorder, and thermal printer for paper documentation. It can measure optional physiological parameters such as ECG, SpO2, Microstream CO2, heart rate, arrhythmia, pulse rate, invasive and non-invasive blood pressure, temperature, and respiration. It has enhanced connectivity to Central Station and can be upgraded via USB ports or HL7/Lan or serial connection. Its battery can last up to 4 hours for reliable performance on the go.
