GE Datex-Ohmeda S/5 Compact Patient Monitor is made suitable for immediate and emergency patient care monitoring. The S/5 Compact Patient Monitor’s design is created to cater to different module combinations depending on the user’s inclination to specific monitor parameters and feature set. This device is tailored for emergency care with its 12.1-inch high-resolution color display with large wave forms and numerical values of patient information on display for easy viewing from long distances and disadvantageous viewing angles. It’s also capable of archiving up to 400 photos for review and to recall previous waveform samples. It has 6 user-configurable modes customizable depending on the preference and needs of the user or care unit staff. Its device interfacing solution function allows synchronization with other patient care devices to display similar patient information to other compact monitor screens. It also includes an optional three-channel thermal array recorder and an extended arrhythmia analysis function. It has its own built-in battery and durable handle for easy maneuvering during intra-hospital transport monitoring. It can be also mounted on the wall or bedside of care areas for easy access.
