The B Braun Vista Basic Infusion Pump is a compact instrument that is simple and easy to use. Its quick start-up function saves time for continuous infusions by just requiring minimal information (rate and volume). Prompts are also provided for easy navigation through the programming process. Its ergonomic design is lightweight yet durable, and makes it ideal for homecare use.
All essential information is displayed in plain language, and its simple keypad makes it easy to navigate. When connected to an AC power, the display screen illuminates with green background lighting. When in battery operation, the screen illuminates when a key is pressed. An indicator lights up when there is an active delivery of infusion. And as a safety precaution, this instrument is designed to stop fluid delivery under certain alarm conditions.
Its aluminum casing makes it drip proof, resistant to disinfectants, and allows for easy upkeep.
