The Philips Epiq 5 Ultrasound Machine is a premium sonography system that delivers quick and highly accurate diagnosis through its proprietary PureWave transducers and state-of-the-art Anatomical Intelligence. PureWave crystals possesses twice the efficiency of conventional ceramic transducers, resulting to excellent imaging even for patients who are technically difficult to scan. Its Anatomical Intelligence works with automatic anatomy recognition which makes exams easier to complete and deliver useful clinical information. In addition, its nSight technology enhances its PureWave crystals for improved scanning penetration and produce high quality imaging with detailed resolution.

The system is also designed for "walk-up usability," allowing users to initiate and complete an exam with minimal training. It offers automation function during exams such as automatic gain optimization and TGC for excellent 2D, 3D, or 4D images during exams. Likewise, its SmartExam feature enhances efficiency by decreasing exam time at 30-50%.
