The SonoSite C15E Ultrasound Probe is a 15-millimeter broadband curved array transducer type, which produces a trapezoidal field of view. It operates at 4 to 2 MegaHertz, with a scan depth of 25 centimeters. As an important diagnostic tool in modern chest medicine, it is used in transthoracic ultrasound (also known as Transthoracic Echocardiogram or TTE) to create a moving picture of the heart through the chest wall. The SonoSite C15E Ultrasound Probe is compatible with the SonoSite SonoHeart ultrasound system.
