The Verathon Glidescope Ranger GVL 3 Camera Blade delivers high quality imaging through a direct connection to the monitor. The camera blade is built with integrated high-resolution digital camera and LED light source to ensure accurate real-time view of the airway and tube placement. The dependable live feed it provides is crucial during laryngoscopy and intubation procedures. It has a unique anti-fog mechanism that heats up rapidly to resist fogging and secretions, and ensures a clear view of the airway. The camera blade works well with patients with body proportions ranging from 22 pounds (10 kg) to adult sizes. A high level of disinfection after each use is required to effectively remove contaminants and biohazards. The duration of the procedure can vary depending on the type of liquid disinfectant used for the reprocessing.
