Despite its compact package, its system is equipped with full features and utility that can adapt to fit in almost any clinical setting. Its compact size allows it to easily perform at a patient's bedside or those in critical care units, while its high image quality helps physicians make confident diagnoses quickly in emergency cases. Its Digital beamforming results to images with enhanced resolution, superior definition of tissue texture, and enhanced tissue uniformity. Its SonoCT technology combines up to nine source of images into one clear, well-defined image virtually free of artifact. Additional enhancement is provided by its XRES adaptive image processing feature which reduces speckle, haze, and clutter, while enhancing clarity and edge definition.
The Philips CX30 also facilitates better workflow by logically placing controls on the panel for quick selection and optimization during exams. It can also connect to a local network to make use of a central database, or users can do quick and uncomplicated transfer of diagnostic files to an external storage media through its USB ports. With the use of optional transducers, this scanning device can expand its function and take in a wide range of clinical applications.
