Philips SureSigns VM1 is a compact and easy-to-use vital signs monitor suitable for respiratory measurement needs of adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. It has optional parameters that can be displayed real-time in wave form including SPO2 measurement, which is compatible with sensors from Philips, Nellcor, or Masimo, and CO2 measurement, whose microstream option allows capnography measuring on both intubated and non-intubated patients. It has optional 1- or 2-D barcode scanner for multiple ID entry, Serial Interface adapter for data export, and recorder. It can connec to Vital Signs viewer and can last up to 6 hours with its lithium-ion battery. It has a Nurse Call output feature and a 96-hour tabular trend. There is faster patient data transmission with HL7 output via Ethernet port.
