Philips SureSigns VS3 vital signs monitor is a flexible patient monitor that can also serve as a spot check monitor. It has optional parameters including blood pressure, pulse oximetry and temperature information, and a user-selectable 3- and 5-lead ECG with basic arrhythmia and pacemaker detection, for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients. When recording temperature, 2 options are available: tympanic and predictive. The optional SPO2 technology is compatible with a wide variety of sensors. Its optional NIBP measurement has 3 options: manual, interval, and STAT. It has a bright and easy-to-read 8.4-inch colord display with up to 4 waveforms and a standard lithium-ion battery that has a running time of 4 hours. It has built-in memory of up to 400 sets of patient data and information can be printed via its optional strip recorder.
