The GE AMX IV is an analog X-ray system which is configured to deliver high-quality images of the anatomy under examination. Compact and easily maneuverable, the AMX IV utilizes GE's time-tested technology to deliver high-clarity images in an efficient manner.
With a height of 1930 mm, a width of 640 mm, and a length of 1153, the portable X-ray system is compact enough to be moved easily. With a weight of 477 kg, the GE AMX IV is light enough to maneuver to different terrains.
The rotating arm and the tube of the X-ray system are configured to simplify the positioning process and clinicians to perform bedside studies. It is also provided with drive motors and oversized casters which allow the machine to move through areas difficult to traverse.
The AMX IV is provided with nine series-connected 12.9-volts maintenance-free batteries. With a battery capacity of approximately 20,000 mAs at 100 kVp, the batteries can provide power to the collimator lamp, electric brakes, and rotor.
