The GE BrightSpeed 16 is a high-powered multi-slice computed tomography (CT) scanner designed to obtain high-resolution images from multiple organs. Equipped with advanced technologies, the compact and versatile BrightSpeed 16 can be used in a wide range of applications while utilizing an optimized dose.
The BrightSpeed 16 is equipped with the HiLight Matrix Detectors and the Volora Digital Acquisition System (DAS). The Matrix Detectors and the Volora DAS are designed to boost the processing power and reduce the noise. These features allow the BrightSpeed 16 to obtain the high-quality images.
The CT Scanner features a Performix tube that is enhanced with the SmartTube technology. The enhanced tube design gives more scanning power for multiple organ acquisition with sub-millimeter slice thickness and sub-second imaging. The SmartTube tech improves the longevity and reliability of the BrightSpeed 16.
The LightSpeed VCT technology enables the BrightSpeed 16 to maintain the optimal speed, power, and resolution required in performing non-invasive diagnostic procedures. The size of the gantry components is also reduced which, in turn, decrease the footprint of the whole system. With its compact size, the BrightSpeed 16 can fit into the same spaces occupied by the single-slice systems.
